Comments: Vinca minor is a vigorous growing groundcover found in shaded wooded areas. First introduced as a landscape ornamental in the 1700’s, it is an evergreen perennial which forms dense mats and is native to Europe. It has blue to lavender colored flowers which bloom in springtime and can grow in full shade to full sun as well as tolerate a wide range of soil conditions.
