Yucca, or Adam's needle, is an essentially stemless evergreen with whorls of lance-shaped leaves. The cultivar 'Color Guard' is known for having yellow-variegated leaves. This tough plant is resistant to drought, erosion, rabbit and deer and provides winter color.
