Growing up to 37" in height, this iris is an early - late bloomer, with blooms appearing in April through May. Tall bearded iris are rhizomatous geophytes, that is to say the growth structure and storage organs needed to survive grows from rhizomes underground. Tall bearded iris are drought tolerant once established.
