Comments: Joe pye weed is rich in nectar and very attractive to pollinating insects. This clumping perennial has whorls of leaves on its up to 7 foot tall stems that add excellent height and structure to the garden. It is topped with large clusters of small pink flowers that appear from mid-summer to early fall. Its seed heads can persist into winter providing interest and food for birds.
